Due to the special action of polyamines, electrically charged polymers increase the activity of hydrolytic enzymes, which are naturally present in the fermenter, by promoting and catalyzing the binding between the enzymes and their fibrous substrate. Due to this combined action, the product under digestion, is made more homogeneous and less viscous.
