Our
mission
METHODO BIOGAS is the first company in Italy to be dedicated to the direct production of both liquid and powdered supplements for biogas and biomethane plants.
It was founded in 1990 as a branch dedicated to formulations for biogas plants within Methodo Chemicals, a historical group in the production of raw materials and additives for the feed and supplement industry.
Building on its experience in customizing products from its parent group, Methodo Biogas has developed more than 2,000 different formulations.
Methodo Biogas’ deep knowledge of the chemical and biological processes, which take place during the anaerobic digestion process, has led Methodo Biogas to also take an interest in the start-up of biogas plants, the most delicate and decisive part, so that the customer can obtain the best return on the investment made. Thanks to the high level of expertise acquired over the years, Methodo Biogas is the company that has started up and managed more than 500 biogas/biomethane plants.
Today it is a well-established reality throughout Europe, with an extensive sales network, a team of professionals specialized in plant start-up and optimization, a staff of technicians dedicated to biological advice and assistance, a plant for the direct production of formulations and an R&D laboratory for product customization.

Startup and commissioning of facilities
Since 2008, we have been involved in the start-up of biogas or biomethane plants, the most delicate phase in ensuring the safe, efficient and sustainable operation of the business.
Biological Counseling and Assistance
Site visits to assess plant performance and take samples for submission to our Preservation and Development laboratory.
Constant remote monitoring of the most important parameters to always intervene in a timely manner.
Research & Development
A team of 5 biologists and 1 chemist dedicated to analyze the digestate from each plant to find the best solutions and bring it to the best performance.
